Do you recognise the feeling, yesterday your hair was fine, and today, suddenly it’s an unruly tangle of rat’s tails and jungle flora?
Time for some remodelling?
At moments like these does anyone else reach for the scissors and cut off the most obviously unkempt clumps?
I thought not…

I have a very choppy style, and I actually have been known to occasionally snip bits off because they were being wholly uncooperative. Crazy? probably.
Uh oh Fish... Did you...
*shaking head and giggling*
I'm sure you look fine. I hope.
In self-defense I must tell you she's exaggerating. Really. however, I did draw blood once. And embarrassingly, it wasn't on my head. Oh gawd.
LOL! I admit it! My hair stylist always knows when I've been at my bangs with the scissors. She just says "Wendy .... tsk tsk tsk ... what have you done?"
LOL @ Melissa & krisbtterfly!! I have been known to cut my own hair and I do say...choppy is a nicer description that I would have used. And it is also why my kid looks a bit ragged too! hehe
Last time I took the scissors to my bangs I made a terrible crooked mess...later my hairstylist said "Didn't you know that bang trims are free?" Ugghhh, NEVER AGAIN will I cut my own hair.
Colin you have nice curls, what are you talking about?
And how do you know the girl of your dreams doesn't exist...you should describe her and let us decide.
wry did "rat's tales" appear to be right at the time...I swear I'm better than that, honest....
I prefer "tales". Makes it sound like they've been crafting wonderful stories on your head.
yea I have been known to cut bits off my hair! I used to get such a telling off from my hairdresser!!!!
Don't cut it. Instead, put it up in 10 or 12 little tiny pig tails. That would be so very cute, and would make for a great blog entry with photo.
Do not touch - move backwards away from the scissors - grow it and drop out :)
